The Louisiana Lifetime license is the best deal around for $500. I got one for myself and son 4 years ago and it has nearly paid for itself by now. I do not understand why more people dont take advantage of this. Even as a resident, I was paying about $90/year in license fees with freshwater fishing, saltwater fishing, General hunting, big game hunting, archery, muzzleloader, La Duck stamp, etc. Plus if you ever have to move out of state you are covered and never have to pay the high non-resident fees

When this poster says if you ever move out of state you are covered and never have to pay the high non resident fees, does that mean Louisiana's lifetime hunting license covers other states hunting license requirements? That does not sound right. Please help.

if you move out of state the license still applies in Louisiana. it has nothing to do with being able to hunt in other states

Like Hermit said, it ain't. No way one State would let another get it's $$$.
