Maybe so, but Les and Chavis had a good in home according to reports and Shazier was quoted that he really liked how Chavis planned to use him. Might be a pipe dream, but getting Shazier would be a great x-mas present.

I knew from the moment we inked Chavis that there would be a serious uptick in LB talent at LSU.
Why any player with hopes of getting to the NFL as a LB not want to play for Chavis is beyond me...he's one of the very best in the business.

See, I'm the exact opposite, but it's also just off a gut feeling and what each has said and done. In the end, I'll be extremely happy if we get either one.

I should have said not total bullshite.
His recruitment is eerily similar to Sam... everyone EXPECTS he'll stay close and play for the home team/local team.
But he seems to LOVE our coaches... namely the ultimate closer... Brick Haley.

Like I said in the other thread about shazier, I'd be happy to have a natural linebacker sign with us, instead of someone that projects to convert to lb. For him to be a blue-chip is just icing on the cake for me
