Simmons' assessment comes from watching practices for the Alabama/Mississippi Allstar game. Seems Mr.Collins won't be flying below radar for much longer. LINK

Collins and Jenkins are gonna be solid...

Throw in OBJ and maybe a healthy Martin and they might rival last years DB pull...

Imo, Martin is the most athletic of the DB's in this class.

Collins is a stud. Ive been saying that since he comitted after I saw him in the national 7 on 7 thing. Locked everybody down and he is legit 6' 3" with cleats on.

He and Jenkins are both GREAT cbs. Paul Turner could be as well. Martin will be a very good safety, so would Alozo Lewis. Shoot, Jarvis Landry would be a top 10 national Safety if he played there in college.

So much DB talent between this and last years class.

Paul Turner

Definitely could be a good CB with his quicks and size

Agreed, except I think OBJ goes offense.

And I'm going to add Flemming to this list as well. I'm holding out hope and pulling for him to straigten up and do good things at LSU.

Turner is a terrific player but does he have the speed to play CB?

Ran a 4.4 at LSU's camp, one reason he got a offer.

Another steal like Claiborne? Can't believe MSU/Ole Piss passed on this dude. Especially considering he had so much exposure at that program. Cooper's DB evaluation>>>>>>>>>Ole Piss/MSU combined.

Size is not a big attribute for Turner.

When I saw him he looked about 5-9 185 to me.

Great size for a corner. You can't have all 6'2 corners or you won't be able to cover slot receivers. LSU is gonna have great diversity and a full defensive toolbox for the next 5 years.

MSU has a glut of DBs, Ole Miss is just incompetent. You should be more surprised that AU or Bama didn't offer. Usually it's MSU/AU/Bama offer OB kids.

I just watched OBJ highlights and to be honest, he is small and a step slow. Watch them before you start arguing. The Slant has great videos of most of our commitments and recruits. Just an observation. Lacks break away speed and is not very physical.

I'm encouraged to see Brassell, Fosselman, CJ and Maiden getting some love. Hopefully MSU can close with Singleton, PJ Jones and maybe flip Morris. That and keep the guys we have now.
