Reduced the story to some latent unrequited bromance between James and Ford. Terrible narration and terrible action scenes.

I dont agree at all with the end of that sentence either, but im sorry, the first half was just rediculous.

In my opinion, the talks were justified to show the transition from "Hero" to "Regular Man" in Robert Ford's eyes. More like a "fall from grace" for his childhood hero, even though it was merely in his eyes.

Kind of like waking up one day and realizing Santa Clause isn't real...except you're 20 years old. In that respect, I thought it was phenomenal...it kind of was like an awakening to the world for Ford. Even more so after he killed James...his spiral down was an intriguing one. He still wanted the fame of Jesse James but realized he'd never be able to obtain it.

A favorite line from the movie from James to Ford: "I can't figure out if you want to be like me or you want to be me."
