Does seeing Florida presumably strike out on home run hires make you change your mind on whether you want to see Les go home?

I don't want him to leave, I don't think, unless we were close to certain that we could have our first or second choice. I don't want to see Harbaugh turn down UM, have them hire Les, and then we're stuck trying to hire a coach in January and end up with our ninth choice and a frantic effort to save our recruiting class.

i worry that if we have to find a new coach in early january, all the top level coaches will have moved up or signed extensions and we will struggle big time finding a top level guy to take our job.

it would pretty much suck arse at this point in time. then again, perhaps coaches just do not want to follow someone like urban meyer.. he's tough to follow.

some good names still out there IMO.. we could do much worse than Mike Leach , Whittingham, Kirby Smart, Dan Mullen, Pelini, etc.

Miles should stay. We fans need to be careful about wanting him to leave -- who would you rather? Would they even come here? Not to mention Miles' recruiting is very good and he is already entrenched in Texas, a hot bed for star recruits. Those relationships can't be overlooked.
