The Parish has closed all schools and just sent the team off.....A crowd of about 25k sent them off at 6 AM......

Why did they leave at 6am? We always left Thursday after practice. At 6am...I was in bed.

I don't know. But I know they followed the same routine last year because everyone was talking about how much colder is was last year at 6am. I know they have practice, pictures etc. at 12.

We always practiced, showered/changed, went to cafeteria for steak/potato/salad, had a pep rally with cheerleaders/band/fans/etc., pulled out around 7pm, got to NOLA around 11-11:30, got a Big Mac and a Dr. Pepper, went to our rooms and lights out at 1am with the curtain open so coaches could walk by and make sure everyone was asleep.

well in their defense(coaches) that's prob why you guys are a mainstay in the Superdome(I mean aside from the recruiting and paying of players etc.:sarcasm:) but the one time we went, our coaches didn't give a frick, I think a majority of them just wanted to party too. We didn't have a bed check the Friday night, and after we got our arse whooped Saturday they damn sure didn't care that night. I went into some gas station there close to our hotel in the hood and bought a 40 wearing my Leesville Sweatsuit they gave us. Nothing was said by the guy. It was awesome.
