Context, friend. Sherman called an extremely conservative game that day as did Pelini. Nebraska never scored a TD either, not because they couldn't, but because they were playing so conservatively as well. Sherman wasn't playing to score that day, he was playing to win - usually those goals are met by the same calls, but sometimes they are not. Given the fact that Les is so aggressive, I doubt he'll call so conservatively for the Cotton Bowl but who knows.

If you apply that same context to LSU, you'll see that LSU had a very vanilla offense all year to allow the defense to win games. Context, friend.
