Is it a safe comparison to compare LSU's newest football commitment, Zach Mettenberger, to Colt Brennan? If you remember Colt was dismissed from the Univ. of Colorado for almost the same thing but was able to ressrrect his career at the Univ of Hawaii. I am not comparing the two offensive systems of LSU v Haw...aii because it's like comparing apples to oranges. I just think if Zach has the same affect on LSU's program as Colt did on Hawaii's program we will be in good shape for the next few years at the QB position. Thoughts?

pretty sure Brennan's was closer to a rape charge.

Mett just got jammed for something that would never have been an issue in tigerland.

not sure how that has anything remotely to do w/ football.

If Mettenberger throws for over 14,000 yards by the time his career is over at LSU, I will streak naked around Tiger Stadium after every win until I'm 30

we have obviously improved our chances with the addition of Mettenberger. I like what he brings to the table with size, arm strength and maturity. JJ/JL are in for a battle and hopefully the competition will force them to improve their grasp of the position. with Mett, the past is irrelevant....the only thing that matters is what happens from this moment on.

This will be similar to the Oregon State vs LSU 2004!
