There’s no strange loop hole that can have him able to go for the Cotton is there? Sounds ludicrous but in this day and age, I put nothing past the NCAA etc.

I've heard he can attend bowl practices but he can't play in the game, so you're off the hook there

Unfortunately, no matter how good he is, he want see any significant playing time til way into the season next year, if that. JJ is the starter and nothing is going to change that. If this year didn't change that, what could?

Yes, under NCAA's New "Plausible Deniability" Rule:
If Les does NOT know about it, then Mett can change jerseys with JL and play
