Just heard from a semi decent source that we may end up going there. Just seeing if anyone else had heard that. Id rather go cotton anyway.

No one knows for sure yet. Capital One, Cotton and Outback have all been thrown out there.

My gut feeling tells me we are:

60% Cap 1
30% Cotton
9% Outback
1% Sugar

My sources say the Hat wants to go to Cap One and play Michigan State.

I think most 'experts' predict us going to Capitol One. Most idiots on this board predict us going to the Cotton. Nobody outside of the boundaries of Louisiana has us going to the Cotton Bowl.

LSU could be better off NOT playing the Aggies: hot team, playing in their home state, first chance for 10 win season in a long time, very motivated to win, etc.

I agree with ALL of this.

I'm hoping for the Cap One. Get a little revenge on the Big 10 from last year's Penn State loss.

Capitol One has the choice and usually goes after the Highest Rated Teams to get the best Matchup. In that case it will be LSU/Michigan State.

I know that an ad rep from the Cap One Bowl has called LSU to line up ads. Talked as if it was a pretty sure thing. God I hope it is Cotton and not Cap One.

I think it would be better to play a higher ranked team. The aggies will basically have a home game in the Cotton bowl.

I hope so. Why would anyone choose a 9-3 TAMU over an 11-1 Mich st or Ohio st as an opponent. The former: nothing to gain. Tha latter: everything to gain.

Me too! Plus they aren't that highly ranked or respected right now so a win over them would not give us much credibility and in the same vein a loss would hurt that much more.
