Im not big into bakerys but Gambinos is my wifes favorite too. I hear that kellers is top notch as well.

Southside and Pouparts are great. Anjos sold out and I am not sure if the gal that relocated it is even still open.

Anjos used to have some unbelievable cakes. Not really the style for a kid's b-day, but they had some outstanding ones. I remember one that was something like 3 kinds of chocolate and peanut butter. About a 12" round cake weighed in about 20 lbs. There was NO nutritional value to it! :)
