Regardless of tomorow's outcome, I'll take Miles over Saban

without a doubt. Saban has been shown this year not to be the MASTER everyone took him for.

Thanks Les !

He lost 3 games the year after he won a NC at LSU too. Everyone seems to forget this and sounds like they think he never lost while he was here.

Not necessarily because he is a better coach, but when they replayed Saban bitching his arse off at AJ McCarron during a meaningless game, that just about did it for me.

The guy seems to always have a negative vibe going.

A lot of the Saban mystique has fallen off, especially after this game, which will go down as the 'choke' game...Miles may have finally gotten the Saban monkey off his back to LSU fans...

Not sure what kind of point you are trying to make with this but one could say Les lost 5 games after a National Title..... So this comment is kind of pointless really and doesn't "prove" anything.

I would take Saban over Miles. That is just me.
They are at 9-3 after a NC year, we were 7-5 after a NC year, but we did lose more starters than they did.
Remember Saban has a perfect season under his belt(2009). Miles does not.

Looks to me like Saban took a page out of Miles and Crouton's book on how to lay down, sit on a lead and lose.

Thanks Les !

he's had to endure a fanbase with a multitude of "experts" every season, get thrown under the bus by every overweight wannabe cajun, and critized by every media outlet...I agree that a "Thanks Les" is in order.

I surely don't want Nick back & never have. He won't be in Bama much longer if they start loosing.

I love Les... loved Saban when he was here -- but he's gone now... LSU got the better deal.

Had Nick stayed ... I'd love him still... great coach... but Les is a great coach too... and he's here now.

After all the negativity this season... Les could CHOOSE to bolt for another pasture... just sayin'.... but I think he genuinely likes being at LSU and will turn down offers to STAY at LSU... but they better not frick him on the post-season contract/salary review....

He's well paid, no doubt... but he IS earning it.. and if LSU beats Arky.... he's definately earning it this year.... LSU football is exciting, relavant and we are in the hunt and appear to be poised for a good run next year too!

Without McElroy, I could see them being 7-5
