If only we'd adjusted like Ted and Gene did.

They did adjust very well.

They werent able to run the ball all game.

in the 2nd half they supplemented the running game with short swing passes, short hitches. That put them in 2nd and 3rd and short the whole 2nd half. That fits right into Newton's strength. He is money in short yardage.

I kick myself thinking what we could have done had we sold out to stop the run more. Like I said, our secondary is much better than Bama's. I would have trusted them against Newton through the air. Auburn's 2 biggest plays of the game were seemingly busted coverages anyway. Shame on Bama for not making those plays, it cost them the game.

It's just not as simple as you make it out to be.

Bama's approach was no more affective than LSU's. And you jumped the gun on proclaiming differently.

Take your medicine and admit that you were wrong. It's the best approach at this point.

So they passed all game instead. LSU held Auburn to 83 yards passing IIRC.

The final result for both games was a one score victory for Auburn. The difference is LSU lost on the road, Alabama lost at home.

You keep talking yards, when everyone else is talking points. LSU'd D held AU to 24 points on the road, whereas the Tide gave up 28 points at home.

Big difference.

You are truly the last of the negapussies who haven't crawled under their collective rocks yet.
