An article I read about Oregon becoming a BCS powerhouse had a list of schools they would join, but no LSU. Alabama, USC, OU, Texas, Ohio St, and Florida made the list.

Does LSU deserve to be on this list?

They have 2 championships and play in a BCS bowl nearly every year. I would say they do

It's blatant that the national media is trying purposefully to avoid LSU

Hell, wish I hadn't read this thread. Now I'm in a really bad mood.

What is frickin' wrong with these people. Who owns more crystal trophies than LSU?

I believe they should. Ohio State, USC, Florida and FSU are the only teams who have played in more BCS bowls than LSU.

We have earn our right to be on the list. But a couple of things, we all know that sportswriters are bias to their area and LSU, unfortunately, does not have that perceived "Hollywood" lure that the USC and the FL. have of the world. Which ironically enough was given to them by sportswriters. Just my two cents but I'll take tailgating in BR and football in Death Valley at night any time.

It's just one line but enough to piss off the die hard LSU. So LSU has 2 average years. Texas will not even make a bowl. We always made a bowl. OU loses everytime they play a BCS game, and you can say the same for OSU. LSU and Florida are the only 2 schools with 2 BCS titles. This just irks me. Why is LSU so disrepescted???

They still look at 2003 as "shared" and 2007 the first time a two loss team won it. It will always be like that get used to it. I love to hear them disparage the tigers then the supposed superior team gets KICKED in the teeth.

Two BCS titles and two Suagr Bowl wins since the BCS started. No losses in the 4 major BCS bowls.
I would say so.

2 BCS championships in the last 7 years, that makes LSU and Florida the 2 biggest BCS powerhouses.

This is uncharted territory for Oregon, but it also feels as if the arrival isn't temporary. The momentum -- having the right coach, great facilities, passionate fan base, national recruiting, a sugar daddy billionaire booster -- suggests Oregon is starting construction on a mansion in the neighborhood with programs like Florida, Alabama, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Texas and USC.

Doesn't say we are not a BCS Powerhouse...Those are your words.
Don't get your panties in a wad, A lot of teams are not on that list

See if this link works. If not, go to ESPN, College Football, Arizona - Oregon preview. The article is by Ted Miller and named Oregons Rise is Not Temporary. The lead into the article is: Oregon Building a BCS Powerhouse.

And why shouldn't my panties be in a wad. LSU is 1 of 2 teams to own 2 BCS titles. And it clearly states on the lead in to the article; Oregon Building a BCS Powerhouse.

Who else with 4 BCS game wins and 2 BCS titles were left out?? All elite programs were mentioned. My point is, LSU is elite and it pisses me off we are left off every list now. And why? The way Les wins, the media views Saban the reason we won, etc.?? What's your opinion?
