For the past two CBS games in Tiger Stadium, one of the cables that support the camera hanging over the field has come dangerously close to hurting fans in the upper west deck.

The cable runs only a few feet over the seats there. I sit in section 616 and watched this happen two or three times this past weekend.

When the camera went to the north endzone, the cable came down and hit several people in the head. Fans had to hold the cable up until the camera moved again.

This could be an extremely dangerous situation. If someone was walking up the steps and that cable caught someone at the neck then started moving at the speed it sometimes does, could get messy.

It seems like the lowest point is in section 316, row 17, seats 25-28.

You should forward this to the athletic director.

I agree, kind of mind boggling that in today litigious society anybody would allow this to happen.

I would let the LSU AD department know about this.
