And to speak the administration's language, towels are much better merchandising. I think only Bama fans are gullible enough to buy the manpoms (though I may be wrong). But, similar to the Steelers "Terrible Towel", a Purple and Gold "Tiger Towel" could be a big seller.
(I don't like either option - I prefer towel over manpom, but will likely choose neither).

When they handed my ole lady one, she grabbed one for me.....I didn't talk to her until after kickoff
