I watched Cannon’s run from the Press Box. He went from South to North running along the East sideline (Ole Miss).

The Press Box has always been on the West side.

As far as Cannon’s speed: it was always enough. His 100 yard time was virtually the same in football uniform or shorts, cleats or track shoes.
