Glock over Ruger. I don't see how this is a fair competition.
I have a Glock 22 with Meprolight sites. I've owned one form of Glock or another since the '80s. - 9mm, 10mm, and .40.
Glocks are tough guns and take a bunch of abuse. It is also an easy gun to break down and clean. I own more accurate pistols, but I trust the Glock to fire each and every time I pull the trigger.
The next Pistol to replace the Glock beside the bed- 1911 with Crimson Trace.
