Anyone know if there's a place in BR that sells these or will take orders? Or is this something that can be found at a regular grocery store? Looking to step things up a notch for the feast next week. TIA

Last year Whole Foods in BR had turkeys that weren't frozen. Not sure if that's what you were asking for, hope that helps.

yes, nonfrozen was what I was thinking. Live might be a little too fresh. Although I'm sure that would be a Thanksgiving to remember. Thanks.

Question...Why do you want a nonfrozen turkey?

I am assuming (perhaps incorrectly) the nonfrozen will be "fresh." I need to read the packaging to confirm. But to answer your question, I have been led to believe these might taste better. If I am making false assumptions, let me know.
I guess a second question would be - which is better to brine ... the standard frozen turkey or nonfrozen?
Besides, it will give everyone something to talk about ...
