In 2011 and Jefferson is the senior starting QB?

Lets say Lsu goes 12-1 this year and wins the sugar bowl...

So with that record, how does anyone see crowton getting fired?

If we go 12-1 !!!!

should that be a reason to fire anyone?

It isn't about the record, it is about how the offense looks. We were 7-1 and we all wanted Crowton gone. Being 12-1 will not help him unless the offense has 4-5 truly outstanding games.

Crowton has called 2 good games - Florida and Bama.

His chances of returning, if LSU wins out, are much greater. Les won't pull the plug on anyone on his staff with that kind of record.

We're 8-1 despite the offensive play calling.

92nd ranked total offense.

112th ranked pass offense.

Record is not indicative of offensive production.

This. Though I can say that after last night, he can put one of those notches in his belt.

Where does the offense rank again? Not having a top 100 offense two years in a row should be enough. 14-0 or 0-14

i wouldn't care. i believe it's more about have a qb execute the plays called than the actual play being called. funny how his offense put up 400 yards and 32 and 24 points respectively when we got good qb play.

Isn't about the record huh ... Your a fricking idiot!

let's not play any games and the the voters decided who goes to what bowl....

Find this out for me..... How many 1 loss teams (12-1) in the history of any sport ... if they have ever fired a coach!

it sucks coming on tigerdroppings because of idiots like you.... why cant you just shut the frick up and enjoy a historical win!

Wow I don't know how I'd feel. The offense has been awful but we finish 12-1, I'd be disappointed I guess

I wouldn't be certain of that. When examining the season as a whole, Crowton and Studrawa should still be looked at being replaced VERY carefully. If anything, I would think that it might entice other teams to pick them up, making Miles even less concerned about their well-being if he knows they have employment lined up elsewhere.

We'll just have to wait and see, but I'm not ready to discuss coaching changes yet. We still have four... fingers crossed on five games left to play.

Just like Miles sticking with JJ. Had LSU dropped 3 games early on, Miles would start Lee. But since LSU has been winning, he'll continue to start JJ no matter how bad he plays.
