Moss has been known to take some plays off here and there. But at the end of the day you'd usually rather have him on the team because he opens up a lot for other players. He's the most effective decoy in the history of the NFL.

He made Wes Welker a Pro Bowler.

I'm not dogging Wes, but for all the love for his skills he's received the past few years, it was painfully obvious the reason he was able to do work is because Randy opened up the middle underneath for him and he was willing to go there.

Just saw the play on highlights. Without a doubt he should have caught it. That's why NE got rid of him. bullshite pouting instead of laying the game like a man.

It wouldnt totally surprise me to see him back in NE next year. Half a season with the Favre dead arm and that nightmare of a situation there and it could wake him up. Probably took the operation in NE for granted after awhile. They wont offer him near the money but he might just decide to end his career with Belichick and Brady.

He hugged Belichick after the game last night like a kid meeting his long lost dad!

When he wants to be Moss is a badass reciever!

I made that same comment yesterday. His comments indicate he loved the place.

If that happens, it will be highway robbery by Belichick again.

Cannot believe the VIkes were dumb enough to trade legit picks for him.

They gave up a 3rd in 2011 and got back a 7th in 2012 - occasionally a team strikes gold in the late rounds or with UFA's (the Pats entire running game of 123 yds yesterday was from 2 UFA's). When you give up more than one pick, you lost more than one opportunity, so the odds worsen. No one knows the success/failure likelihood of whoever the Vikings would have picked with that #3. It was a risk, but then all trades are. .

Wow, so Moss just got released 4 minutes after I posted, lol. That had better be a damn good 7th round pick in 2012 !!!
