good friends with bradley sylve's cousin, been 'boys' with him since we were both 4... i was throwing the football with him at BC's field the other day and got to talking about brad and his cousin told me that for whatever reason, he(brad) was having 'doubts' about going to alabama... and from the impression he gave me, it had nothing to do with saban, bama, the offense, etc, but its just not 'home'... i know the sylve's all have a really close family but never thought about it until he mentioned this to me.. might be something to keep an eye on..

IDk, this might to be something to watch.... especially with Rodgers now decommitted from Miami .
OBJ is a take , and the staff won't turn him down, but Sylve vs Rodgers .... that could get interesting if we offer Rodgers

and listen, i'm not here to try to build up 'cred' or start shite.. i'm from plaquemines and just wanted to share what i heard.. i am not saying that he is going to decommit and commit to LSU, i know brad, i like brad, and i do not want to cause any shite

aggie, if you saw the facilities they had at south plaq, maybe you could understand what those boys go through.. they have no weight room, they have no track... might have a little something to do with it i dno?!? not making excuses, just sayin...

This was known at the beginning when he committed to Bama. LSU was still on him and he still was very interested. However, at this point, I'm not even sure how much LSU has been recruiting him lately...
I don't think we take him unless OBJ goes somewhere else. Just no room for him in this class now. Unless we whiff on some people like Robinson, who is looking like a real possibility.

$100,000 and what badass weight room, track, etc. is that going to build? not taking a shot at the gift, it was very generous no doubt.

I can't see him being a part of this class even if he wanted to be, unless we missed out on some targets. JMO

he never said how hard they were recruiting him, or if they still are.. so i dno about any of that.. and deuce
i don't think its up to LSU, if he wants to come, i think miles would be foolish not to make room for this guy.. reminds me a lot of shepard in HS the way he runs (not as a QB)

It would really depend on who we miss out on and who we lose from attrition. I could see him taking Chris T. spot if he leaves. But we'd have to lose out on other prospects like Robinson, Jernigan, OBJ, etc.
OBJ is LSU's slot guy right now and he is priority over Sylve. If this was early on in the process and he didn't suffer another injury, LSU would take him no question. But I think they have serious concerns with his injury history now and if he will even stick with Football. I just don't see OBJ, Landry, Sylve all together in this class. All slot guys. Too many other positions with needs on limited ships. LSU originally had Syvle/Landry as their slot guys until they changed OBJ's evaluation from DB to WR.

That is good to know! I work with his cousin at Chevron in Belle Chase, maybe he can give me some more information on whats going on.
