are we still overrated if we beat bama

??? just a thought we took the "#1" team down to 5 mins left in the 4th before they scored a 70 yard td to win. we could beat bama

I think we should give up on hoping for positive pub from ESPN and the like for this year. They are fully invested in the overrated monicker for us at this point.
IF we beat Bama, Jesse Palmer will find every unsuccessful play Bama ran over the last few games and say Bama was finally exposed by an overrated LSU team. Not to mention we will inevitably win in dramatic fashion, and Forde will say the deal with the devil is back on.

None of this matters. If we were Boise or even Michigan State or Missouri it would maybe make a difference what these people say. From day one we controlled our destiny being in the SEC. We lost and now no longer control our destiny. Simple as that, if we would have won we would have shut these people up. We did not.

Although I think we beat Ole Piss in a close, ugly game. With this offense, there is no way we beat Arky or Alabama.

If S. Carolina didn't get placed on a pedestal after upsetting Bama, I wouldn't look for much respect for LSU. You know the media hates us. They want us to be the laughing stock of collge football. Not see us in the BCS.
