I've never said he was bad for every offensive scheme, but it is absolutely useless to try to make him into a pocket passer who reads defenses and tries to run an offense that runs 3 & 4 receiver sets.

In a dumbed-down offense that only throws an occasional bomb with slants and TE seam routes mixed in, he's about as good as you're gonna get.

But his slowness in the pocket will let other teams tee off on you. So you need to run play action out of power running formations if you're going to throw with him, or he's going to make the rest of the team look awful.
