...particularly a WR,RB or QB, with offers from the elite programs around the country, including LSU, would you sign with the Tigers? Answer as someone that bleeds purple and gold, too.

I don't think the consensus among prospects is that our problem is just at QB because if that were the case, we'd have at least a couple 4/5 star QBs at least interested in playing at LSU.

If i was a QB i would sign, so i could play. And if LSU gets another OC and they get a high profile QB then i would sign as a WR, RB.

If I had the choice of all major college football programs, I'd pick LSU without thinking twice. frick all other colleges. P&G FTMFW

Sure, why not? I'd look at the who that team has before deciding where I was going to play. If the team signed the #1 qb in the country, the same yr, I'd probably look somewhere else where I would realistically have a shot at playing. LSU currently has 2 backup qbs competing as if they were starters in the sec.

if i was an "Elite" *offensive* football player in HS.. I honestly don't think I'd choose LSU at this point.. and I have always loved LSU. If I was a QB.. there would not be a chance.. especially from what I have seen go down over the past few years..

however if I was a RB or WR I could still be influenced if some studly QB coming to LSU was helping recruiting me..

If I played O-line, or anywhere on defense I would come to LSU hands down.. without a doubt. Again this is all if I am an "Elite" athlete.

It's about comfort for many......home (i.e. LSU) is warm and comfy. Les plays a great house mom.

Instant playing time at LSU and if you have a decent season, you look like a 1st rounder in comparison.

I'd sign for the college that had the most immoral sororities and the horniest cheerleaders.

But that’s just me dreamin' since that's all this thread is about, right?

Not this year

Theres a bunch of other elite programs where youd be utilized and have a chance to get stats as a Fr. or Soph.

Not my son. I have no faith that they can coach them up and develop them, no matter what Miles says.

We signed a 4* QB last year. Although he went to the MLB, he still chose to play for us. This year we have a good shot at getting a 4* QB (Mettenberger) and, I think, are still in it for Jacoby Brissett, who is also a 4* QB.

I'm aware of all that and I really hope we can land one of those guys. That's what scares me about how we're playing. I can see these guys backing away, unless our coaches can show them what the offense looked like under Flynn and convince them they are the answer. Rivers is nice, but we gotta do better than that.
