A Conspiracy?

Every week, I find myself thinking that all that's happening with LSU football is like a conspiracy...consistently running plays that don't work for players who shouldn't run them, not using the best talent available, forcing a square peg into a round hole (JJ option, JL screen) time management & personnel issues, stubborness, player regression indicating lack of coaching, not utilizing talent and a general lack of accountability. It's almost like someone has money on the lines and is betting on the games because there's no way coaching should be THIS bad.
Yes, we won a national title in 2007. However, with the "aura" of Les Miles and his gambling ways quickly wearing off even light of a 7-1 record, it almost seems like there's something deeper going on. Maybe LM and GC are just terrible coaches and that's all there is to it. If that were the case, though, LM wouldn't have survived on the SEC level for as long as he has. Anyone else feel this way?

The offense is an absolute embarrassment to all of America. Gary Crowton MUST be fired

Nothing works when players don't execute. Did you see how the defense did not work either. Bad tackling, all year, we have had bad form on our tackles. That is why we get so many face mask penalties. It is not the play calling it is execution.

I get what you're trying to say here. But how could it be that we're the only team in America with top tier talent where every player on the team, with the exception of the kicker and the punter, can't execute simple fundamentals like blocking, catching, throwing off back foot, bad tackling, etc. At some point it becomes the coaches responsibility to make sure your players can execute basic football functions. I agree that the players arent' executing worth a damn, but at some point I have to believe they arent getting proper coaching and preperation

What if the plays called don't fit the situation? Or the offense doesn't fit the skills of the players? Either of these would cause a player not to execute.
