Two men were setting in the upper deck of Tiger Stadium when one stood up and removed his hat. The other asked why his friend had done what he had done. "There was a funeral procession down there on the street" he replied. "So" his friend stated. Then the mourning Tiger said "It was my wife's funeral. It's the least I can do"

Old Lady sitting next to an empty seat at Tiger Stadium. Man asks her if anyone is sitting there. She responds, "It's my late husband's seat." Man responds, "Oh, well, why didn't you give his ticket to a friend?" Lady replies, "I tried, but they're all at the funeral."
I got married on a Saturday afternoon in January. Saints make the playoffs for the first time in a decade, win their first-ever playoff game, and the next game is the afternoon of the wedding. I still tell all my relatives that I spared them having to watch us get killed by the Vikings.
Wife gave me a pocket-sized TV to watch the game between the ceremony and reception. Still married!
