Does JJ Starting Every Game Boil Down to a Recruting Promise?

After looking at the stats for the games that JJ and JL have been sharing time, that's the only thing I can come up with. When JJ was recruited, Miles told him that by the time he was a junior, he'd be starting every game. I actually don't have a problem with him starting,(starting is only one play) but I do have a problem with him getting more stats than Lee. I don't think the rotation will change until (if) we lose.
I feel good about our chances this week. When I think of Auburn though, I think about flags. They got some hometown calls against Ark too. These types of games are why I'm proud to be a Tiger fan!!!

Miles has stated that JJ doesn't have any video of him so it must be photographs.

Seriously?? I mean JJ was eventually bumped up to a 4* but its not like he was the caliber player coming out of HS that would require such demands. In all honesty, Miles doesn't have a track record of playing high * players just bc they are high *

JJ's little brother is suppose to be a real player
rivals

Rickey Jefferson:

Performance: Had one touchdown reception and was a shoelace away from a spectacular punt return touchdown during a 27-12 win over Thibodaux.

Strengths: He has good receiver size at only a sophomore and he was extremely explosive. With the ball in his hands Jefferson is dangerous both as a receiver and on special teams. Straight line speed looks to be very good and he can both make people miss and then run away from them.

He just might play better if he was HIGH. Someone put him in contact with Ali.

I think Miles may be scared that if he benches JJ he will lose him.

And no matter if the stats are the same, Miles is deathly afraid of going back to 2008 when all he had was Lee.

Shame because RS should be taking all of those snap. JJ is not posing a passing threat -- it's like having Deangelo Peterson or Chase as QB.

Well it sure as frick isn't based on his performance on the field. Do you have a better theory.

Yes. Miles thinks that LSU is at its best with the kind of performance we received in the Florida game. He knows that Lee is available to play more should we fall behind, but likes Jefferson with the lead because he thinks it makes us a better running team.

I'm not saying I agree, but you'd have to be an idiot to think that this is a case of Miles fulfilling a promise to a recruit.

Thank you!!
For you two that have said "Seriously?", I'm open to any theory, but just about everything has been thrown around, and mine makes just about as much sense as any because, in my mind, there is NO reason for JJ to be on the field for any significant amount of time at all!

I believe we should start JJ every game and let him play a series. This gives JL time to settle in and get a feel for the game. It has worked so far. I think JL should play the majority of game, but I like him not starting and getting a chance to take a deep breath. The worse thing that could happen is, if he started and through a pick six, it would bring him back to two years ago. He is much better, but JJ has started many more games. So keep up with the rotation, just play JL much more.....IMO

Miles is in denial. JJ has not scored points bottom line while JL has.

you mean throw?
if he were to THROW a pick six how is that any different then JJ getting sacked and fumbling on the 5 yard line?
