Tino, my cousin lives in Costa Rica and had a dog eaten by a croc. The American Crocodile isn't even close to the Salt Water or Nile crocodile in terms of seeing humans as a food source. They have some big animals down there, but attacks are much rarer than in Africa, Australia or other parts or Asia.
