Every time he touched the ball, he passed it out of bounds or back to the Brits. Lampard was invisible the entire World Cup, was he not?

A bit of hyperbole there, as he was 24 of 40 in the England game, 60% completion percentage, which isn't that impressive. Yet this was not an isolated to Bradley, as the pass completion percentage for the whole game of both teams was 65%, meaning it was a very sloppy game. Given that, out of all the central midfielders on both teams, he ran the most and covered the most ground.

Look, I think he's definitely one of our top five players (Landycakes, Demps, Jones, Howard). My point is that he is/should not be an automatic start or unsubable.

At this point, his work-rate is too valuable. Again in the game he and Edu both started, Bradley ran nearly twice as far as Edu. When we play our antiquated 4-4-2, his flex play is essential for the balance of the team. Whether we should play 4-4-2 is another story, but as long as we stick to it, Baby Bradley will probably be a staple.

Of course it is. And I agree that his work-rate is valuable.
