Just got home from G'ville...first off i will say it was way easier to make our way around after the game than it was in '08. Not nearly as much f lsu was thrown around after it was over.
The cops in the green suits were horrible...really need to get a life. they stopped us at the gate because of my camera lens and wouldnt let my girlfriend in. Told us to throw it in the bushes or we werent coming in. Had to go out and go all the way to the other side to find someone to let us in. Only to get to our seats and find 3 different people with lenses bigger than ours. Then midgame had 3 girls from uf get in the middle of our aisle and get in front of two girls below us and blocked their view. so i finally said something to them and told them to please move over so everyone could see. Well they didnt like that so they called 2 of their guy friends down there to stand right in the middle of the aisle and block my girlfriends view also.I already could see us getting into it and of course me being the one getting tossed out so instead of saying anything we finally got a marshall and he escorted 6 people from their group that didnt even have lower level tickets out of there. Glad to get out of there with a w and i can honestly say after two trips i never want to go back. Worst road trip in the sec IMO

will say Auburn is at the top of my list. Been 3 times and it was a great trip all 3 times even through 2 losses.
Vandy is by far the strangest i have been to.
Most of the others are about the same...FWIW the barn in '08 was one of the loudest environments i have ever been in. from start to finish it was rocking

Gainsville sucks. Def worse road trip. I will say that their stdium is ugly with all the blue and orange, but it is def one of the loudest. That's a tough place to win, and their fans in the stadium haven't turned into a bunch of pussies like ours.

Tuscaloosa is the best road trip as far as a-hole factor being low.
Knoxville a close second.
Knoxville a close second.

I just don't like how they think they are truly better than every other team. After kicking the arse up and down the field I had so many gator fans say how lucky we were or that they should have beat us by 10. And for anyone that says we didn't dominate go look at stats

Going to Knoxville for first time next year. Can't wait

I got back earlier today from my first trip to Ben Hill Griffin stadium. No real problems other than the design of the stadium. We were sitting up high on the east side. Before I went, I heard Florida was one of the worst stadiums to go to because of the fans. I had no problems with the fans. Great experience due to the WIN. I will probably go back.

Totally agree... We went to Gainesville in 98' and will never return. To say they were still pissed about us knocking them from the top in 97', would be an understatement.
Of course immediately after the game (98') and after the loss to UF (LSU 10 - UF 22), the Gators fans were at least tolerable. But before the game = Hell on Earth.
Our favorite regular season road trip is South Carolina.

In general cops need to be educated about the fact that non-pro-photographers use DSLRs as well these days. And the fact that cameras with bigger lenses are quite cheap these days and are within reach of regular fans should dawn on SEC bosses as well. Its high time they get rid of the "cemeras with good lenses are only for pros" mindset.

I have to completely disagree here.
We had a great time. Traveled to Auburn, Starkville, Athens, Bama, Oxford, and Arkansas, and this was our best trip to date. First time to Gainesville and loved it. We stayed in Lake City and more than enjoyed the room. Gainesville was a lot of fun. The fans were tame compared to what we were expecting. My girlfriend used the comeback "We eat Gator in Louisiana" and said it to anyone who trash talked (which wasn't many). This got a lot of laughs. Everything was very organized and well put together. Lots of places to drink before and after the game. Had a group of gator students invite us to their tailgate for food and drinks. Not to mention the great game. And the drive down there was painless. The cops were intense, but gave us no problems personally. Guess I just had a different experience in Gainesville. I'll definitely be going back.

bullshite.
UF fans are the worst. the students are trashy. the girls are all ugly. they never invite anybody to their tailgate or offer boudin to visitors. gainesville is a shitty town. the swamp sucks. etc etc etc
j/k. glad to hear you had a great time. it's good to hear somebody who has been within this decade and give an honest/positive review

A LOT of people can say that about LSU too. Just saying. We're pretty brutal to some people sometimes.
