Hello Ranters,

Even though, I really enjoyed watching PP's explosiveness both on defense and special teams...not to mention that I also was curious to seem him get snaps on offense...it seems that we just keep using him far too much. Once again, I noticed that PP continued to have cramping problems and was sent to the locker room. During Florida's drive, he was not out there and it eventually led to another TD by Florida. So with this being said, is it time for PP to just play defense only and let someone else play special teams? Your Thoughts?

Absolutely agreed. His abscence on D due to cramps is not worth his presence in the return game. Put Randle back there. It might not be as exciting but we'll always have a lockdown corner...

I think using him on Punt returns only would be sufficient as far as retrning... I would let Randle and shep return Kickoffs

Yeah, I was just curious. I am all for the PP Heisman campaign and to see him used in different situations, but is it worth doing at the expense of further injuring him? Not to mention the fact that we will continually miss his presence on the defense side of the ball when he starts to cramp?

I'm afraid so.

Let a RB return kickoffs. Ware, Ford, or Blue.

It's tuff. A TD in return game or great field position is really big. Hopefully as the weather get's cooler it won't be as bad. I hope.

Wouldn't mind Brooks returning. Not sure if he has good hands, but he was explosive on his returns last season.

FWIW somebody asked PP what was wrong during the game and he said it was his hamstring. I dont know if that means cramping in his hamstring or a tweak.

I'm leaning to yes. There is no I in team and he is costing the team at this point.

Not sure I understand you but yes, Miles is the bus driver of the short bus. Gary is telling him where to parallel park it.

This thread is not intended to question PP because of the fumble or anything like that. In my opinion, I just feel that because he is more prone to injury that maybe he should play the CB position solely. It gives us a better chance to have our best defense package on the field and more importantly to not further injure PP anymore than what he is already dealing with.

But it decreases your chance to change the game on Punt returns.........I'm not arguing this anymore....yall have fun.

You are one dumb motherfricker. He helps the team in the locker room getting an IV when we have 5 other guys that can return the ball just as well. frick it, defense doesn't matter and its not keeping us in games. Get a fricking clue.

We gave up at least one TD to his side while he was getting an IV. Tell me I'm wrong dumbass. You have no idea what RS or RR would have done with the same kicks.
