I know choach lenard very well, and salmen wouldve blown through the playoffs last year if this kid did not get expelled for have sex with a girl in the bathroom...anyway he was allowed to play this year again and is a beast, he is only a 2 star recruit, but should be higher..I think he is a k-state commit. they have blown through the competition this year and will win state if he is healthy. i havent been home in awhile for any lenght of time hows this kid look this year? any thoughts

I beg to differ they have not played Terrence Magee and the Franklinton Demons yet this season.

Kansas State commit... size is an issue, i believe... either way, when all is said and done, we HAVE to come out of the class with Mettenberger... period...
doesn't matter who else we get QB wise, Mettenberger is SEC ready NOW, and that helps us tremendously next season, even with the loss of key defenders.... next season should be a title shot, with a competent QB under center....

SPARTANS BEAT THE DEMOMS!! They play each other on the 29th.. the only way the demons win is if that stink from the paper mill gets everyone sick!

What I heard from a former coach on Salmen's team is most of local schools were going to offer as a DB; he wasn't getting much interest at QB. K-State offered as QB so he jumped. He probably will be moved to WR or DB. The other QB Salmen is a better prospect from a QB angle in my opinion.

Coach lenard was on 870 after the ej game..I played for him when he was a DL coach at northshore high..his wife meme was the soccer coach there at the time...he is very cool guy, cares alot about his players, alot of the atletes that come out of salmen have academic problems...Played againest Mike sutton who played at LSU and the titans, also heath panks played at the same time and also played for LSU but i think after 1 yr tranfered to the tide...nilo silvan was playing for st pauls he went to tn. and then to tampa bay that dude was fast a frick!!!coach stubbs was there then, i sound like al bundy... i am tired need to get some sleep so i can watch the tigers kick florida's arse!!

Franklinton has beat Salmen 3 times in 2 years, twice with him on the field and beat them 60 to 0 when he wasn't last year in the playoffs. I don't see why any Salmen fan is so confident they will always beat Franklinton?
