But let me tell you something....you are slowly but surely helping to galvanize the LSU nation. People like myself, a long time critic of Coach Miles, have had enough. You are helping galvanize the players too.

I've been reading Tiger Rant for a long time but never felt motivated to post until now. I couldn't agree more with the sentiment expressed above, and I sure hope I'm not the only one. I find myself rallying around LSU and Les Miles in a big way after hearing all of the negativity directed our way this week.
I have not been the biggest fan of Les -- I think his refusal to rid the team of Gary Crowton is almost a fireable offense by itself -- but I have reached my absolute limit of hearing the national media and non-LSU fans bash LSU and Miles. It's one thing for an LSU fan to be fed up with some aspect of the team and let off steam on this site. It's entirely another to have to listen to expert after so-called expert tell us how much of a "pretender" LSU is, how LSU has no chance in hell this weekend, how LSU was so lucky to win last week, Miles can't coach, etc. ad nauseum. They've exhausted every synonym of "putrid" in describing our offense. We are the freaking Rodney Dangerfield of college football. ENOUGH ALREADY!
It's time to circle the wagons. All of this external negativity gives LSU the perfect opportunity to play with a chip on its shoulder and up the focus and intensity to new levels.
And here's another thing -- we are not that far off from being a real threat to win the SEC. The defense and special teams are already there. And there is no denying that the offense is improving. I don't think this is an LSU team that will lose many turnover battles from here on out. Eliminate those and last week plus week one v. UNC are 2-3 td victories. I think the coaches will be able to get the penalties under control. We can already run it fairly well, so all we have to do is get the passing game going, which of course is easier said than done, but we have the receivers and it looks to me like Lee might just be good enough to get us there.
I think we stand a great chance to win this weekend in the old fashioned Tigers way -- when nobody else believes or gives us a chance. I hope the entire Tiger Nation fans/players/coaches use this negativity as fuel for the fire.
Let's win some games and make those experts fumble for words to explain how in the hell such a terrible, poorly-coached team with no offense whatsoever became SEC Champs.
