Looking for a good fried shrimp po boy recipe. Any information anyone would be willing to provide I would greatly appreciate. I've browsed several via google just haven't found one that stands out so I thought I would come here and see what people may offer. Thanks again.

I guess I should have been more specific as to how people like to season their batter.

I season my flour heavily with garlic powder and Tony's. Dredge the shrimp in the flour then dip them in an egg wash and then in a equal parts corn flour/corn meal mixture. Fry in peanut oil.

louisiana shrimp fry is superb IF you like a heavier batter. It is GREAT!!!Ask my Grandsons:) also Chef KD's is really good in the opposite direction aka light and chrispy.Get it at Calvins as I KNOW they have it. Just follow directions on both as they are very different..........

I like the Louisiana shrimp fry too. I mix two beaten eggs, half a bag of shrimp fry and add a little water to get a nice consistancy. wash the peeled shrimp then put in dry fry mix. Take out and put in the dredge mixture then back into the dry mix. Fry at 350 for a few min. I use Wayne's bread cause its fresh and easy to get around here. Enjoy.
