Why didn't LSU have to kick the extra point at Game End?

If blocked Tennessee could have ran it back for 2 points and tied the game. Not that I wanted that game to go on any longer. But rules are rules.

Good question. The officials still talked it over a while before officially announcing the end of the game.

Franking, JJ(Josh Jasper) doesn't miss...I believe he's perfect in PATs.

Because all we had to do was kneel it so Tennessee just left the field rather than go through the motions. Obviously they underestimated the amount of stupid on our sidelines.

They were supposed to have a PAT attempt but Tenn declined to come out. And they should have kneeled it if they had to try

game ended on def penalty. LSU would have had the opportunity if needed. Otherwise they would have just take a knee. But with Miles, who knows. They may have tried a half back pass with russell shepperd.

Just like in overtime, it wasn't necessary. That would have been cruel to drag those kids back out there just to kick the extra point....
