Derek Dooley would not be a coaching upgrade

At least not based on the standard fans are using to Judge Miles. If you want to criticize Miles for being a poor game manager, why would we think a coach whose team puts 13 players on the field during a key defensive play would be an upgrade?

Also, if you're coaching against a coach with a reputation as a poor clock manager, why would you call a time-out when your opponent with no time-outs desperately needs one? Favorable substitutions? Your opponent would simply do the same - offsetting your plan, and still giving the advantage to your opponent.
