There is a bar near Picadilly Circus on Haymarket, I believe, called the Sports Cafe. They should show the CFB games televised in the states. You are lucky that LSU gets the 2:30 CBS National kickoff (time difference) b/c you should be able to catch it live, in it's entiriety.
Also, you could try Bodean's (BBQ joint) near Oxford Street.
Another option is the Texas Embassy (bar upstairs feels like a college bar. This pub is near Trafalgar Square (close to Picadilly).
Do an Internet search for the exact addresses and closest tube stop. Remember that most pubs shut down at midnight and the tube does as well. Taxis are expensive and a bitch to get afterwards.
