I've had Ryobi for about 6 yrs and used them alot.
No issues here. Batteries still working fine.
That said, Dewalt seems to be better, but worth the cost?
Everyday user? Yes as you say. If not, hell no.

Dewalt and it is not even close plus there is a service center for dewalt in baton rouge and new orleans
