The circular saw and reciprocating saws aren't good for more than a couple of cuts and its really really rare you'd need one cordless anyway. You'll wear you batteries out quickly and end up not liking those tools anyway

As an owner of a dewalt set, I love mine. I can bring my bag with drill, reciprocating saw, bits, blades and a box of assorted screws and bolts and tackle nearly any job. My batteries last for about 2.5 hours with near constant use. The saw has enough power to cut 10 6X6's with a 9" blade. I have found the combo indespensable on the lease mostly becasue I have had a hard time finding 2 mile long extension cords. Mine came with two batteries and a charger and I never leave without both batteries full. You can also buy extra batteries for about 50 dollars.

Buying a combo with a light is useless IMO though as you can buy better lights with longer batterly life elsewhere.
