How does TENN match up with say the likes of UNC, WVU, MISS. ST., and Vandy? I have actually watch some of Tenn games this year and I am undecided. The only reason I have watched is b/c I really like Dooley and I liked him when he was at LA Tech. I want to see if he can be a great coach in the SEC. What I saw from the Oregon game and most other games is that TENN is a first half team. They play balls to the wall in the first half and due to depth issues, they slow down in the second half. Can anyone else give me some info on this team and how they match up?

I would say that their offensive output should be similar to Miss St. Not the scheme or anything, but output. Defensively, I would expect them to be pretty stout early on, maybe like Vandy was, but we wear them down as the game goes on, much like the Vandy game.

Again, not saying their schemes are anything like these schools, just saying that I would expect similar results as to those teams. Also, I think UT could easily be 0-4 with our schedule so far. I think UNC, WVU, and Miss St. would have beat them, and if Vandy played like they did against Ole Miss, that would be a toss-up.

Probably 0-4....The Vols do not have the gas to last an entire game this season- unless that team is so bad it's not an issue.

This isn't their year, but I still believe Dooley will have them winning again soon....

He can't. ZERO percent chance he lasts five years here. His piss poor recruiting skills will begin to catch up with him around 2013 or so after Lane's two classes run out of eligibility.

What you guys don't realize is the players are finally buying in to what it means to wear the orange and white. Its a special thing, we aren't a flash in the pan like you guys or Cincinati.

TN - 31

LSU - 13

Thank you and I love yalls strenght in such hard times. I posted this earlier but I used to tell everywon of my friends that when Little Midget Nick came to the house of LSU that yall would be a special place in a hundred years or so.

But he left and went to an already special place and I think the fact that you guys and Cincinnati are still trying to like football is something nice but you don't know what its like to love something so dear that you are born with. You don't have a General Neyland or a Bear Bryant, yours went to Tuscaloosa

Because I've seen both teams play at full strength. If we lose to them in Nashville I'll ban myself.

Yes like many of the NFL teams (panthers, bengals etc.) Y'all have a very geigh cat represent your university.

TN being a special and traditional place we have more than won. We got Smokey who is a sage leader on his perch and reminds us of teh smokey mountains we call home; we got Davie Crockett who helped slay Santa Anna's men as they stromed the gates of Texas; and now we have DoolTabby who came to kill all the rats in the SEC. First up the retarded one...come her Les

...and we have the Fighting Tigers of Louisiana- who could have kicked Davy Crockett's arse.
