I have season tickets and used to stay to the bitter end every game.
Now I live in Houston and I can only attend a few games a year but I still take my 79 year old dad. It takes him 30 minutes to get up to our seats. It takes him 20 minutes to get down when leaving. If he doesn't start ahead of time he gets trampled.
He lives in MS and there is alot of road construction on the interstate just East of Baton Rouge. By leaving a little early we beat alot of traffic and got home before 2 am (still very late to be up driving).
We leave in the fourth quarter with 4-5 minutes remaining if the game ends very late like it did Staurday night.
Evryone has there own reasons for doing things. Don't judge someone til you've walked a mile in their shoes.

And you live in The Woodlands...that's a drive just from downtown Houston.
