re: Hypothetically? Is there a way to muffle or silence a 22 rifle?

I had though about using a 2000 gpm sump pump with a 2" discharge pipe and tapering it down to a pressure washer tip on the end of the 130 ft long 1/2" pipe.

Might have to give this a try.
