Is there some big QB recruit we're going after right now?

Maybe Les is allowing JJ to struggle in hopes that our inadequacies at the QB position will help us land a stud QB on the false premise that he'll get playing time early in his career

Ive been saying the same thing, a QB recruit should look at this offensive shed full of weapons and absolutely jump at the chance to play here. This team is a QB away from being a contender.

Rivers is probably a bit of project. my ideal scenario would be:
- new OC
- sign Mett and Rivers
- let Mett and the other 2 battle it out in the spring under the tutelage of said new OC
- CHAMPIONSHIP!
- new OC
- sign Mett and Rivers

They need another qb in here to bridge the gap or a redshirt freshman will be starting in 2012. Therefore, we have to go the JUCO route to get a qb in here for 2011.

Damn people, we have one of the top rated QB in the country right now, playing WR. A complete waste of talent, because we can't use him effectively

I live 10 miles from Athens Hi school where Steve Rivers is their QB. So far this year they have won only 1 game. At this point he is not nearly half as good as Phillip. Sorry. No one in the sec. offered him a scholarship but LSU. Why would any good QB want to go to LSU right now with the OF cord. we have?

First, Bridgewater is going to Miami and not LSU.
Second, our best, and really last chance, of getting a new QB for next year is Zach Mettenberger.

Damn it to hell people!!! Shepard can't throw a ball worth a shite! Did no one hear pay attention to his recruitment? If he was a better QB than Lee or Jefferson, don't you think he would be playing QB? No, Chad Jones is isn't moving to linebacker, Trindon Holliday isn't playing Defensive End and R. Shepard is not playing quarterback!!!
