I can't stand Meyer, but he benched the player everyone said was a better passer than Tebow due to his performance. He plays a freshman, and throws the ball 36 times!
Guess he didn't get the memo that you have to proceed slowly with your QB.

Dude had 6 TD's which broke Tebows record of 5. I think Meyer knew this kid was this good all along and decided to show him just before the BAMA game. I think our coaches workload just increased for the week and that is what Meyer wanted.

Seriously though, Spurrier pulled Dean, a senior who wasn't getting it done, early in the season and replaced him with Wuerrful and the rest is history
