Saints RB Chris Ivory (knee) was upgraded to full participation in Thursday's practice.

There's now a good chance that Ivory will suit up as the No. 2 back behind Pierre Thomas this week against the Falcons. Coach Sean Payton indicated that his staff is working to identify offensive roles for Ivory and fellow rookie Jimmy Graham, both of whom have been held back by injuries since late August.

Great news

his redzone capabilities should be unreal. a 6ft 7in target for Brees in the endzone will be unstopable.

Is Graham black? or white? or red? My thought is that he's black with red hair and freckles. Unlucky combination IMO but I respect his road to success.

I just hope they aren't trying to hurry him back because Reggie is out. I would rather him sit this week and be ready at full speed for the duration of the season than get hurt by coming back too soon.

Good to see Graham back for sure

Add me in. Good news on both, have to trust the coaches that Ivory is ready to go. I just hope he can stay healthy. He has had major problems with that and did not start out his pro career on a good note.

Methinks this is why Betts is a Saint this week. I could see Ivory be active, but not play. He could just be available in case something happens to Thomas or Betts. But that's just my .02.

they cut Wynn though.

they arent going to activate Ivory and not play him. Wynn played ST, Ivory or Betts will have to fill his role, likely.

and i cant see us throwing our #2 RB(if that is Betts) on Special teams if our #3 cant play, but is active. Doesnt make sense.
