When your QB can't anticipate a receiver being open he usually locks onto a guy and waits for him to get open and if that receiver doesn't, panics or runs.

That's what happens when you run Crowton's stupid arse Option Route passing system. It makes the QB hesitant to anticipate the break in the route. It's why the vast majority of college teams don't do it.

In case you didn't know Musick, when LSU has the ball that is considered the offense. Therefore, since no defensive points were scored, all 29 points were offensive. Did you even watch the gmae?
