I was thinking the same thing. It's almost better that we gave them hope then stuck the knife in this way.

Not at all. I lost my arse due to the fricking prevent defense. We gave them every reason to hang around in the game and make it dramatic for us. It's going to be an interesting season. Everyone is gunning for us.

Obviously but i'm not talking about that. I'm saying that game happened about once a year against the 9ers in the 80's and 90's and we always seemed to be on the other side.

I thought the same thing as the 49ers were driving. They are going to leave too much time for Brees to work with. When we got the ball back, I thought about all those times Montana beat us at the end. I knew it was our turn to return the favor.
