I was expecting the same Hawx with different missions. Boy was I wrong. You can now pilot UAV's and paint targets with them. You can run the gun on an AC-130. You refuel in air, you take off and land from runways and carriers. You have guided missles that you control all the way to the ground. If you played the first Hawx, this one has a bit of a learning curve. I like almost everything except not being able to dictate whether I want my teammates to attack or defend. I played the game all weekend. I couldn't put it down to play MW2.

Was wondering what you were playing Sat. & Sun. pm. Had to play FFA most of the weekend except for joining up with a few others for a few games of Domi.

Is there now more than a cosmetic difference between the planes?

I wasn't expecting flight sim, so the huge supply of missiles didn't bother me.

But it always bugged me to see things like hiting the throttle on the YF-12 and have my escorts keep up with me no problem.

Different weapon loadouts now do different things. I'm barely into it. And leveling up is way easier. I hate that leveling up has a multi player component though. I like reaching my achievements without having to play multi.
