it's very simple- JL fans have the idea that he will go 25-30 for 300 yrds sitting in the back of their mind. i know because i'm one of them. anyway, until we optimists are proved otherwise, then we will bitch about the q.b. situation.

more importantly, if miles would just come out and say "i've watched the both of them progress since spring and i can assure you that jj is outperforming jl by a longshot" then maybe some lee lovers will relax. instead, he is saying how great j.l. is doing at practice, and that just keeps the dream of 300 yrds alive in jl supporters' minds.

kapeesh?

My biggest argument in this debate is that Jordan Jefferson has been given the excuse that he is young and he will improve for 3 years now. Jarret Lee, as a redshirt freshman, was thrown to the wolves with an entirely different game plan and he has been locked in the basement ever since. Les is not going to let Jarret Lee come into blowout games let and throw the ball around because if he performs well, then there will be a huge QB controversy. Les won't allow it.

That being said, I support whatever QB is in the game and hope that they both play great.

Doc, I'm with u. I still think JJ is an always will think he is playing like a freshman. I don't see us competing with sec west unless some one steps up quick at qb. FIELD GOALS ARE NOT GOING TO GET IT WITH BETTER TEAMS IN THE SEC.
